The NENY 2022 Area 48 Convention includes a number of Hybrid Events.
All Hybrid events will use the same Zoom Meeting ID and Passcode.

Zoom Meeting Notes:
During Area events we ask that all members stay muted unless they are speaking. To mute and unmute on a computer you can click the microphone on the bottom of the zoom screen. If you are on a mobile device, you can tap the screen to bring up the tool bar and click the microphone. And if you are dialing in on the phone you can type *6 (star six) to mute and unmute.
If you have a question or would like a chance to speak, we ask that you raise your virtual hand on zoom. To do this on a computer you can go to the bottom of the screen and click “Reactions” and “Raise Hand.” On a mobile device you can follow the same process, or you may need to select the “more” options which will open a menu with the “Raise Hand” option. And if you are dialing in on the phone you can type *9 (star nine) to raise your hand.
When possible, we will leave the chat open during Area Events. Feel free to share information relevant to AA with our fellow members and to ask questions relevant to the topics being discussed. Please keep in mind, that excessive chats while a member is speaking is the same as a side discussion during an AA meeting and we ask that you respect whoever has the floor. If the chat ever gets out of control, we will change the settings so that members can only chat with hosts and co-hosts.
In the participants window, which can be opened along the bottom of the screen from a computer or mobile device, you will notice hosts and co-hosts that are part of the Area 48 Tech Team.
